Daren OliverManaging Director
Daren is one of the founding directors of Fitzrovia I.T. Limited and became Managing Director in 2005. Daren has overall responsibility for the management team at Fitzrovia, with a focus on the firm's and clients' strategic operational direction, including helping the firm achieve the Investors in People accreditation and meeting the ISO 9001 (Quality Management), 27001 (Data Security Management), and 14001 (Environmental Management) standards.
Daniel started his career as an IT engineer in 2001, before joining Fitzrovia IT in 2005 as a Senior Network consultant. Daniel then moved into a more client facing role, where his IT experience would allow him to be more engaged with clients at a strategic level. Following several promotions within Account Management, Daniel became Fitzrovia’s Sales Director in 2010, where he manages the sales division and looks after high-profile clients.
Daniel KelliherFinancial Controller
Daniel manages and coordinates the day to day financial operations of Fitzrovia. Daniel started his career as a junior bookkeeper and 5 years later joined a leading accountancy firm as their Management Accountant carrying out Accounting duties for their group of companies. With the growth of Fitzrovia IT over the last few years, the next step in Daniel's career saw him join the company as Financial Controller in 2014.
Ben JonesTechnical Director
Ben joined Fitzrovia as Helpdesk Manager in 2014, with over 15 years' experience in the industry. He started his career as an AS400 operator, then spent 9 years growing the support team at a printing company, culminating in the role of IT Manager. Since then, he’s worked in support management and consulting roles for software companies, and managed the support desk for AirWatch as the company grew from 30 to over 250 employees. Ben has just been promoted to Technical Director at Fitzrovia IT.
Daniel KentService Desk and Resource Manager
Dan started working in IT over 10 years ago as an Engineer Co-ordinator, before moving into various Technical Support and Field Engineering roles. He worked his way up from a 1st Line Engineer to Technical Helpdesk Engineer in a previous role, with a focus on continual service improvement. Dan is our new Support Desk Manager, and alongside his passion for great service, is looking forward to bringing new ideas and working practices to Fitzrovia.
Anuj MehtaSenior Professional Services Manager
Anuj has a passion for IT. In his early days at Fitzrovia as a Senior Consultant, Anuj was involved in implementing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions. Anuj now heads the Professional Services Department which ensures that our clients' IT requirements are met in a proactive manner using latest IT technologies and delivery of all IT Projects. Anuj has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's Degree in Computer Networks.
Ryan VarneyAssistant Helpdesk Manager
Ryan joined us in 2013 after studying ICT as an A level and furthered his knowledge with a Level 3 IT apprenticeship with City and Guilds. After almost 4 years working on the helpdesk and gathering an understanding of our customers’ needs, he has been newly appointed to oversee the running of the helpdesk. His day to day activity involves scheduling engineers, problem management and ensuring his team are delivering the best service Fitzrovia IT can offer.
Steve RuddBusiness Development Manager
Steve has recently joined the Fitzrovia family, bringing with him over 17 years’ experience in Business Development and Account Management within the IT industry – including extensive knowledge of IT support, consultancy, voice services, internet connectivity, software solutions and cabling. Establishing lasting relationships with clients has always been important to Steve, something which has been recognised and appreciated by all who have worked with him.
Steven TurnerIT Security Consultant
Steven has a degree in computer security and forensics, as well as forensic analysis investigative qualifications. Steven has worked in security and IT since 1998 for establishments including the Royal Military Police and IBM. With a background in data management and intelligence, Steven has carried out high-profile security reviews and helps clients identify the right solution for safeguarding company information.
Lee HurleyTechnical Services Assistant Manager
Lee joined us early in 2017 with nine years’ experience in service desk and front line roles. Beginning his career in IT support solutions, Lee’s last position was as team leader where he effectively managed 10 engineers to ensure problems were rectified as quickly and effectively as possible. With qualifications in ITIL Foundation, Windows Desktop and Infrastructure, Lee is a knowledgeable and experienced member of the team.
