As a business, Fitzrovia IT has always sought to prioritise our people in order to provide the best service possible for our clients. For that reason, we are extremely pleased to have been recognised by Best Companies as a Top 50 Best Company to work for in Technology; Top 25 Best Small Company to work for in London; and Top 75 Best Small Company to work for in the UK!

Who are Best Companies?

Since 2001, Best Companies has steadily grown to be recognised as the standard in workplace engagement, seeking to promote improved workplace happiness and productivity. With a specific set of criteria, Best Companies assess businesses on their employee satisfaction, development and wellbeing.

With the help of the Best Companies feedback, organisations develop themselves to become better places of work, more specifically by measuring, improving and recognising engagement. It was thanks to the insight provided by the 2021 Best Companies feedback that we at Fitzrovia IT have been able to tangibly improve our company-wide communications and employee functions, responding to our team’s desire for increased email comms and social events.

Certifiably Developing Our People

Over the past couple of years we’ve sort to invest in our people, helping them develop new skillsets whilst supporting their personal satisfaction and wellbeing. It’s a widely recognised fact that a happy team is essential to a business’ success, and we want our people to succeed whilst positively contributing to our business outcomes. As highlighted in Forbes, ‘happy employees are more engaged, productive and effective… they contribute more to success and the bottom line’.

As personal growth is a key assessment criterion for Best Companies, we know a significant 88% of our team feel that the experience and development opportunities they are gaining with Fitzrovia IT are valuable to their career trajectory. The opportunities for training and support have helped us grow a passionate team – Jacob Corbett, our recently appointed Marketing Manager was attracted to Fitzrovia thanks to the promise of in-house development.

Of his desire to join Fitzrovia, Jacob shared that “Fitzrovia IT looked like a company where I could make a difference, a place where I would be challenged day-to-day but given all the resources I needed to grow alongside the company and succeed.”

However, not only has our focus on professional development been recognised in the Best Companies survey, our drive to improve employee wellbeing was also noted as a significant factor in our employees’ positive feedback. Over the past year we’ve introduced the ‘Vitality at Work’ programme, providing health and wellness benefits to all staff across the board. In addition to formal programmes such as ‘Vitality at Work’, the option to participate in informal group exercise classes has also been introduced, bringing our team together outside of the office.

An IT Partner You Can Trust

Over the past few years Fitzrovia IT has gained numerous certifications to ensure our clients know they are partnering with an IT Support firm they can trust. However, it is the certifications that reflect our employees engagement that best demonstrate the success of our company values.

As summarised by our CEO Daren Oliver, “Throughout the pandemic, we chose to invest. Invest in individual training to new technologies; in our accreditations – ISO’s 9001, 27001, 14001 and 45001, Microsoft Gold Partner, and Investors in People Gold status; in new ways of working, ensuring our Team works best for them as well as our clients; and in our services and service delivery to meet and exceed client expectations.”

Thus, it is with great pride that we can offer our clients a certifiably happy, dedicated, and expert team. If you want to find out more about our team and the services we offer, then don’t hesitate to get in contact today.
